In 2024, BurlyCon introduced day passes, partial convention passes, and additional payment plan options!

We have made some adjustments for 2025, and intend on keeping the commitment to flexibility for attendees.

What is the value of a BurlyCon Pass? 

In 2024, BurlyCon attendees could take 14-20 classes, panels, or caucuses across the 4 days. Between classes and events offered at BurlyCon, we estimate the “true” value of a pass is $600. In order to be more equitable and fair to our attendees, our staff, and our presenters while maintaining our commitment to financial sustainability, we are adjusting our pricing tiers to adopt a “pay what you are able” model with three standard tiers offered throughout the year (with payment plan options). Each full weekend pass gets you access to up to 20 learning events (classes, panels, caucuses) and each night’s social events. We ask that those who can contribute more to please do so. This community support helps ensure that we can continue to offer tiered pricing to those who need the financial allowance.

Convention pass prices are set through September 30th. After September 30th, all passes increase by $25. Pass transfers are free until September 30th. After September 30th, all pass transfers incur a $25 fee. Passes must be paid in full before they can be transferred.

Payment plans are available for full convention passes and partial convention passes exceeding $200, see table below.

All pass payments are non-refundable.
